Wei Ye

| Bio: | Wei Ye is a Research Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department and a Computer Scientist at the Information Sciences Institute (ISI), University of Southern California (USC). He received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Xidian University, China and M.S. in Computer Science from USC in 1991, 1996 and 2001 respectively. He is now working in the area of wireless sensor networks and underwater networks. He is a member of the ISI Computer Networks Division, ISI Laboratory for Embedded Networked Sensor Experimentation (I-LENSE), USC Center for Smart Interactive Oilfield Technology (CiSoft), and the NSF-funded Center for Embedded Networked Sensing (CENS). His research interest includes MAC layer design, energy management, network architecture, signal processing, testbeds and applications. |
