| Bio: | Roberto Baldoni published more than one hundred papers (from theory to practice) in the fields of distributed, pervasive and mobile computing, middleware platforms and information systems.
In these fields he regularly participates and chairs committees of premiership international conferences and workshops.
Roberto Baldoni is the founder of MIDdleware LABoratory (MIDLAB) and he has been PI of many national, european and industrial research projects. He has been visiting researcher at INRIA, Cornell Univ. and EPFL. He regularly serves as an expert for the EU commission in the evaluation of EU projects in the security&dependability and e-gov areas.
He led the working group for the definition of the next generation systems for italian e-government (Servizio Pubblico di Cooperazione).
