| Bio: | Katherine Hartsell has worked at Sun Microsystems from 1992-2010, at which point it was acquired by Oracle. She currently holds the position as Director of the External Research Office in Sun Labs, Oracle. Katherine has been responsible for a number of roles in collaborations with universities world-wide including the Executive Sponsorship program, fellowships, internships as well as targeted in-kind donations in support of both technical collaborations and sales at Sun. Katherine sits on various university Boards representing Sun Labs, Oracle.
